Once again as the General Election keeps moving closer, many Nigerian musicians are getting affiliated to some politicians and it doesn’t come as a surprise.
Nigerian top Fuji artiste, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly referred to as KWAM 1or K1 De Ultimate has once again renewed his ties with the All Progressive Party (APC).KWAM 1 has been politically affiliated to the APC since the days of former Lagos State Governor now APC Leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.In what can be termed as a show of support, KWAM 1 has donated 15 vehicles to the APC Lagos State Governorship candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his campaign.The Music star made a visit to Sanwo-Oluand his running mate Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamsat at their Awolowo Road Ikoyi office yesterday afternoon. KWAM 1 in a speech with the two aspirants said,
THE JOURNEY HAS STARTED. WE HAVE MAPPED OUT PLANS TO ACHIEVE THIS. WE HAVE DONE THIS FOR THE PAST THREE GOVERNMENT AND I AM CERTAIN THAT WHAT WE STARTED WILL TURN OUT WELL. I HAVE NO DOUBT IN MY MIND THAT VICTORY IS JUST BY THE CORNER. I AM GIVING MY WORDS THAT MY SUPPORT WILL BE TOTAL TILL WE ACHIEVE THE DESIRED VICTORY. I WILL NOT ONLY SUPPORT WITH MY MUSIC BUT EVERY THING TO MAKE SURE VICTORY IS OURS.’Apart from KWAM 1, YBNL boss, Olamidehas also shown his support for Sanwo-Olu.
